Blencathra
Known by locals Saddleback, it's one of the most famous "Wainwrights" in the Lake District. With 6 separate summits, and a knife-edge ridge, Sharp Edge, for the brave.
An interesting 6 mile long family friendly & accessible walk. The path will take you through some stunning scenery surrounded unique fauna & flora weaving its way over River Greta numerous times on new & original railway bridges.
Composed from 38 free standing stones circle is dating back to Neolithic period, it is one of the earliest in Britain. Situated above Keswick, the circle offers a breathtaking view of Threlkeld Knots.
With a steep assent from Keswick or an easier walk from carpark near the summit, Latrigg offers amazing views of Keswick, Derwent Water & down into Borrowdale. There is also a viewpoint accessed via a Limited Mobility Path from the carpark.
